Lapola 2022 is an exceptional white wine produced by the renowned winery Dominio do Bibei, located in the Denomination of Origin Ribeira Sacra. This wine stands out not only for its careful crafting but also for its composition, made with 70% Godello and 30% Doña Blanca from vines aged between 25 and 80 years. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels aged between 1 to 3 years, adding complexity to the wine. It is then aged in the same barrels for 11 months on its lees, with 15% fermented in concrete tanks, adding an interesting dimension to its profile. Importantly, this wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation, which helps preserve its freshness and natural acidity. Finally, Lapola rests for 18 months in bottle without being filtered, providing greater structure and character. It is a perfect wine to enjoy on its own or pair with sophisticated cuisine, ideal for special occasions.
