Légende Bordeaux Tinto is a Bordeaux DO Wine Made with Cabernet Sauvignon & Merlot Grapes by Bodegas Domaine Barons De Rothschild.
Climate: With characteristics reminiscent of the legendary 1990 vintage, the 2016 season was exceptional in Bordeaux, both in terms of quantity and quality. Although it was a year that posed significant challenges for winemakers due to the abundant rainfall recorded at the beginning of the cycle (800 mm of rainfall in the first six months of the year), the subsequent absence of rain between July 1 and September 13, along with storms that affected certain areas and a pleasant Indian summer, all these conditions combined to allow the grapes to achieve perfect ripeness. The red wines are rich, delicate, fruity, with very deep colors and extraordinarily mature tannins.
Color: deep purple. Nose: intense and very expressive, with predominant aromas of fresh fruit (currant and raspberry) mingling with subtle notes of wood. Palate: structured, rounded, and pleasant, with a soft hint of wood, firm yet velvety tannins, and a long, fresh, fruity finish.
