Matsu El Recio 2018 is a red wine from the Toro D.O. that is born from biodynamic viticulture and a deep respect for nature. El Recio represents the second generation of the three wines offered by Vintae: El Pícaro (young), El Recio (aged) and El Viejo (reserve).
This wine is made from Tinta de Toro grapes from vineyards between 90 and 100 years old. This wine is aged in French oak barrels for 14 months. Afterwards, it is clarified using natural, non-aggressive processes and bottled unfiltered.
Matsu El Recio is a full-bodied wine with great finesse.
On the nose, it stands out with an intense aroma of dark chocolate, black fruits, and vanilla.
On the palate, it has a surprising, silky, and round taste, very unctuous with subtle hints of glycerin. Subtle aftertaste of fruits and mineral notes. It is a powerful and full-bodied wine, but at the same time easy to drink.
