Salvajes de Gredos Marino Rosado is a wine that reflects the purity and essence of the Sierra de Gredos, developed under the direction of winemakers Marc Isart and Miguel Santiago in the Denomination of Origin Vinos de Madrid. This rosé comes from the Majaillas plot, where 85-year-old Garnacha vines grow, deeply rooted in decomposed granite soils at elevations above 800 meters. The viticulture follows biodynamic practices that respect the natural cycles of the vine and promote vineyard biodiversity through the use of animal traction and cover crops. In the winery, the approach is minimal intervention: the harvest is done by hand, and fermentation uses indigenous yeasts along with 10% whole cluster, giving the wine an unparalleled texture and complexity. This vibrant rosé presents a bright pale pink color with salmon reflections, and on the nose offers intense aromas of wild strawberry, grapefruit, white flowers, accompanied by a notable mineral background. On the palate, it is characterized by its freshness, vibrant acidity, and a long, salty finish. Ideal to serve between 8-10°C in wide glasses to enhance its oxygenation, pairing well with dishes like seafood rice, tuna tartare, roasted poultry, and soft cheeses.
