Les Clans Rosado is a wine from the D.O. A.O.C Cotes De Provence Made With Red Garnacha And Vermentino Grapes By Chateau D'Esclans Wineries.
The use of grapes from top quality plots and meticulous care in its production are the keys to Les Clans, a delicious, mature, unctuous, and gastronomic rosé, among the greats of Côtes de Provence. To showcase the more complex side of Provence rosé, which Les Clans perfectly represents, after fermentation in demi-muids (600-liter barrels), Château d’Esclans subjected the wine to 10 months of aging in French oak, with bâtonnage in the Burgundian style, twice a week and individual temperature control in each barrel. The result is a juicy, powerful, elegant, and expressive rosé that goes far beyond what is customary for wines in its category.
A pale pink color. On the nose, dominant aromas of spiced apple and lemon peel, along with a mineral note. On the palate, it shows a lively acidity and a complex finish with a wealth of flavors and sensations. Linear and brilliant.
