It is a wine with a variety of 100% Mencía, from almost centenarian vines planted on slopes of difficult mechanical access at about 600-800 meters above sea level.

It is then aged for 14-16 months in French oak barrels. Finally, it is bottled without filtering or clarified, so it is common to find grounds.

It has an intense ruby-red color with slight mahogany reflections. On the nose we find red fruit, undergrowth and smoked. It is a very fresh and elegant wine.
