Tilenus Pagos de Posada red is a high-end wine produced by Bodegas Estefanía, with the prestige of winemaker Raúl Pérez. This wine, belonging to the Denomination of Origin Bierzo, is made exclusively from Mencía grapes grown on vines that are nearly a hundred years old. These vines are planted on slopes that are only accessible by hand, at an altitude of 600 to 800 meters above sea level, which impacts the character and quality of the wine. It undergoes aging in French oak barrels for 14 to 16 months, enriching its aromas and flavors. Visually, it presents an intense ruby red color with mahogany highlights, while on the nose it surprises with notes of red fruit, underbrush, and a smoky touch. On the palate, it is fresh, elegant, and balanced, making it an excellent choice to pair with meat and game dishes. Notably, being bottled unfiltered and unclarified, it may present natural sediments.
