Valeyo Tinto is an exceptional red wine from the Bierzo Denomination of Origin. This wine, produced by Bodegas Mauro, consists of 95% Mencía and 5% Godello grapes sourced from vineyards located at 650 meters above sea level in Valtuille de Arriba. The aging process for Valeyo Tinto takes place over 12 months in 500-liter French oak barrels, both new and used, to enhance the freshness and elegance characteristic of the Mencía variety. This wine is produced in limited quantities and is distinguished by its intense cherry-red color with violet reflections. On the nose, it presents aromas of ripe red fruits, floral notes, and spicy touches that enrich its complexity.
