Macán 2021 is a sublime expression of the partnership between Tempos Vega Sicilia and the Rothschild family, focused on producing elegant and deep wines connected to the terroir of Rioja. Made mainly with Tempranillo and a touch of Graciano from vineyards located in Rioja Alavesa and Sonsierra, at 500 meters above sea level. The aging took place for 18 months in barrels and large oak tanks, achieving a perfect balance and a complex structure in the wine. This red presents an intense cherry color with enveloping aromas of ripe fruits, dried herbs, and a creamy oak background. On the palate, it is balanced and persistent, ideal for pairing with red meats, stews, and aged cheeses.
