Originating from Côte-d’Or, the Nuiton Shallots, Onions & Chives is an artisanal cheese made from cow's milk, delicately flavored with wild garlic. Prepared and aged with care, it is presented in its beautiful wooden box, ready to be enjoyed hot or cold.
This creamy cheese subtly combines the sweetness of cow's milk with the vegetal aroma of wild garlic, for a gourmet and original result.
Hot:
Bake it in its box (wrapped in aluminum foil)
Serve it melted with potatoes, country bread, and cold cuts
Also great on the barbecue, for a different summer appetizer!
Cold:
Spread on a slice of country bread
Diced in a composed salad
On a platter with crunchy vegetables and dried fruits
White wine from Jura, Savoie or a Burgundian Chardonnay
