The Distillerie de l'Ort is located in Montignac-Lascaux, in the heart of the Périgord Noir and 2 steps from Sarlat-la-Canéda. Loïs and Nolwenn, brother and sister, made the bet to distill the plants of their gardens and to use the water of their source while being a resolutely innovative distillery.

The plants are distilled fresh and the citrus peeled in the morning to give the gin that aromatic power. The grain alcohol is mixed with spring water before adding the aromatic botanicals. The distillation process is slow (over 8 hours) and tedious to harvest a delicate and complex nectar.
