This natural sweet wine is made exclusively from the native variety Malvasía Volcánica. Unlike generosities, here a perfect balance between residual sugar and natural acidity is sought. The grapes are harvested in an advanced state of ripeness to concentrate the sugars while maintaining the freshness provided by the volcanic soil and the trade winds of the island.
In the glass, it presents an amber yellow color with golden reflections, very bright. On the nose, it is an explosion of aromas: notes of honey, white flowers (orange blossom), dried apricots, and a very characteristic mineral and saline hint from the Lanzarote terroir stand out. On the palate, it is unctuous and dense, but surprises with its freshness; the acidity balances the sweetness, preventing it from being heavy. It has a very long and elegant finish. It is the ideal companion for foie, blue cheeses (such as Cabrales or Roquefort), aged goat cheeses, and pastries with nuts.
