Garrigal comes from the oldest vines of Cariñena in Perelada, between 60 and 80 years old. It comes from Finca La Garriga, a land of gravel and pebbles where the roots deepen to withstand drought, resulting in pure, intense and full of life grapes. It is a wine with a Mediterranean character, elegant and balanced, showing all the strength and authenticity of the variety.
Tasting notes
Marked aromas of raspberry, spices, Mediterranean herbs and blue flowers. In the mouth it is intense but refined, with a perfect balance between freshness, fruit and a subtle smoky and spicy touch that makes it especially attractive.
Elaboration
The wine is aged for 7 months, with 70% in 300 L French oak barrels (fourth use) and 30% in 3,800 L foudres. The aging is brief, designed to respect the expression of Cariñena to the fullest. Traditional viticulture and minimal intervention are used to preserve the identity of the terroir of Finca La Garriga.

Perfect with grilled or roasted meats, elaborate vegetable dishes, meat stews, surf and turf recipes, pasta with tomato and meat sauces, chicken, rabbit or vegetable rice dishes. It pairs especially well with dishes seasoned with pepper or Mediterranean herbs.
