Jameson Crested
The Jameson Crested (formerly known simply as Crested Ten) is an Irish whiskey that celebrates the first bottlings done directly at the Bow Street distillery back in 1963. Unlike the original Jameson, thisblend has a higher proportion ofPot Still Irish Whiskey and stands out for its aging inSherry casks alongside bourbon barrels. On the nose, it offers a vibrant fragrance with notes of sherry, sweet spices, and a hint of chocolate. On the palate, it is much more robust and oily than the standard; layers of delicate spices, ginger, and toasted nuts are perceived, with a lingering fruity sweetness. The finish is warm and smooth, with the unmistakable touch of sherry. A whiskey with much more body, ideal for enjoying neat or with a single ice cube.
