The Essential Xarel·lo is the purest and most vibrant expression of the queen variety of Penedès according to Juvé & Camps. This Reserva (Brut) cava is a single varietal of Xarel·lo that aims to highlight the varietal character over the complexity of extreme aging. It comes from selected vineyards where the grape expresses all its aromatic load and characteristic structure.

With an average aging of 15 months on its lees, this cava focuses on freshness and fruit. In the glass, it presents a pale yellow color with greenish reflections and a fine, lively bubble. On the nose, it is very straightforward, highlighting white fruit (pear, apple) alongside notes of Mediterranean herbs (fennel, rosemary) and a subtle bakery background. On the palate, it stands out for its excellent acidity and that point of structure and body that only Xarel·lo can provide, with a clean and persistent finish. It is ideal for enjoying by the glass, with grilled fish, complex salads, seafood, and light Mediterranean cuisine dishes.
