Ocampo Listán Tinto
The Ocampo Listán Tinto is a young red wine that captures all the typicity of the queen variety of the islands. Grown in volcanic soils and under the influence of the trade winds, the Listán Negro offers a unique profile that combines fruit and minerality. After careful production (often with partial carbonic maceration to highlight the fruit), the wine presents a bright cherry red color. On the nose, it is very expressive, highlighting notes of ripe black fruits (blackberries, plums) along with a hint of black pepper and a background of ash or very characteristic volcanic stone. On the palate, it is friendly, fresh, and very balanced, with soft tannins that make it extremely easy to drink. It is a wine with a lot of personality, ideal for pairing with grilled meats, hearty dishes, or traditional Canarian cheeses.
