Author reserve red wine made by Bodega Parató, designed as the maximum expression of its own vineyard and the passion for organic viticulture in Penedès. This blend combines the structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo with the elegance of Merlot and the character of Samsó, sourced from selected vines in their estates in El Pla del Penedès.
After a controlled fermentation and a prolonged maceration to extract all the polyphenolic potential, the wine undergoes an aging of 18 months in French and American oak barrels. Subsequently, it rests for a long period in the bottle to achieve the balance and finesse that characterize the great reserves of the house.
Of intense garnet color with brick edges typical of its evolution. On the nose, it is complex and seductive: notes of candied black fruit (fig, blackberry), spices (pepper, clove), tobacco, cocoa, and a subtle balsamic background. On the palate, it is broad, structured, and very round, with velvety tannins and an acidity that promises a long life. Ideal with game dishes, roasted lamb, long-aged red meats, traditional stews, and very aged cheeses.
