Piedra Verdejo on Lees is an exquisite white wine from the Rueda designation of origin, produced by Bodegas Piedra, known for its commitment to organic wine production. The vineyards, located in a privileged region, were planted in 1990, and the harvest is done mechanically and at night to ensure the freshness of the grapes. The vinification includes static settling and a controlled fermentation at 16 °C in stainless steel tanks. For 3 to 4 months, the wine ages on fine lees, giving it a unique structure and complexity. In the glass, it presents itself clear, with a lemon-yellow color and greenish highlights. Its aroma is fresh and complex, highlighting notes of pineapple and passion fruit, with a hint of syrup. On the palate, it offers notable volume and balance between freshness and acidity, with a slightly bitter finish characteristic of the Verdejo variety.
