Portia Verdejo is a white wine belonging to the Denomination of Origin Rueda, produced by the renowned Bodegas Portia. The winery, designed by the famous architect Norman Foster, is part of the Martínez Zabala family. This wine is produced from vineyards located between 600 and 700 meters above sea level, in soils composed of limestone, gravel, and sand. The winemaking process includes a nighttime harvest, followed by cold maceration and controlled alcoholic fermentation. The wine presents a golden hue with greenish reflections, revealing intense aromas of tropical fruit and peach, with citrus nuances and a background of fennel and aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is elegant, with good structure, balanced acidity, and a characteristic slightly bitter finish of the variety.
