Prado Rey Crianza Valdelayegua is a red wine from the prestigious Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin. Made primarily from the Tempranillo variety, with a hint of Merlot, this wine comes from the Pago Valdelayegua vineyard, located at an altitude between 790 and 820 meters above sea level. This privileged location gives the grapes a notable balance, as well as concentration and freshness, faithfully reflecting the character of Ribera del Duero. The harvest is done manually, and fermentation is carried out with native yeasts to preserve the vineyard's authenticity. The wine is aged for 12 months in French and American oak barrels, achieving perfect harmony between fruit and wood. This wine stands out for its intense aromatic profile, with ripe black fruit, complemented by notes of spices, nuts, coffee, and roasted hints. On the palate, it is silky, balanced, and full-bodied, ideal to accompany red meat dishes.
