Delicado is a wine that sits between a dessert wine and a meditative wine. Unlike traditional PX wines, which are almost like honey, this one is made from a selection of sun-dried grapes (asoleo) but with such meticulous control that it maintains a vibrant acidity. On the nose, it is elegant and, as its name suggests, very delicate. Notes of raisins, dried figs, and dates emerge, intertwined with hints of coffee, licorice, and very subtle noble wood. On the palate, it surprises because, although it is sweet, it is light and fluid.
