Delicado is a wine that sits between a dessert wine and a meditative wine. Unlike traditional PX wines, which are almost like honey, this one is made from a selection of sun-dried grapes (asoleo) but with such meticulous control that it maintains a vibrant acidity. It undergoes oxidative aging in oak barrels, which gives it an astonishing complexity.

On the nose, it is elegant and, as its name suggests, very delicate. Notes of raisins, dried figs, and dates emerge, intertwined with hints of coffee, licorice, and very subtle noble wood. On the palate, it surprises because, although it is sweet, it is light and fluid. It is not cloying; it has a silky texture and an incredibly long finish where the memory of nuts and toasting lingers for minutes. It is pure liquid craftsmanship.
