12 Volts 2023 is a renowned wine from 4Kilos Vinícola, crafted by Francesc Grimalt and Sergio Caballero. Designed as an energy accumulator, it is made from indigenous varieties of Callet and Fogoneu, combined with Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, integrating the Mediterranean character of Mallorca with international influences. The vineyards grow on reddish clay soils under organic and minimal intervention practices. The vinification focuses on preserving the fruit: manual harvesting, controlled fermentation, and 20 days of maceration with 9 months aging in foudres and used barrels. The wine features aromas of red and dark fruits, Mediterranean herbs, and spices, with a fresh and smooth body. It is recommended to serve at 15–17 °C, pairing well with cold cuts, white meats, rice, pasta, mushrooms, and stews.
