Al-Muvedre 2024 is a red wine from D.O. Alicante produced by Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez using 100% Monastrell , one of the most characteristic Mediterranean grape varieties of southeastern Spain. The grapes come from traditional vineyards located around Monóvar and Villena , planted on calcareous and sandy soils that give the wine its expressive character. This project aims to revive the spirit of the historic wines of the region, highlighting the authenticity of Monastrell and its strong connection to the Mediterranean landscape.

The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel and cement tanks , followed by a short ageing period to round the wine while preserving its freshness. The result is a vibrant and approachable red that stands out for its pure fruit expression and balanced style.

In the glass it shows a bright ruby red colour with aromas of blackberries, dark fruits and subtle spicy notes. On the palate it is fresh, juicy and well balanced , with lively acidity and soft tannins leading to a long, vibrant finish. A very versatile wine, perfect with appetizers, grilled meats, rice dishes or Mediterranean cuisine.
