Alión, a red wine from the 2018 vintage, is a remarkable example of the legacy of Vega Sicilia winery, known for its tradition and excellence in winemaking. This wine is made from Tinto Fino grapes, carefully hand-harvested in 12-kilo boxes, ensuring the selection of the best grapes. Fermentation takes place in wooden tanks with strict temperature control, promoting good polyphenolic extraction and deep color. After fermentation, the wine matures in French oak barrels for 12 to 14 months, allowing all aromas to integrate and develop the characteristic elegance of Alión.
