The Amancio 2020 is one of the most exclusive wines from the Eguren family, produced by Sierra Cantabria in Rioja Alta. From the Finca La Veguilla, this wine pays tribute to Amancio Eguren and is noted for its concentration and elegance. Grown in clay-limestone soils with pebbles, it is crafted with precision for low yields, involving manual selection in the vineyard and winery. Vinification combines partial destemming and fermentation in small tanks and oak vats to achieve concentration and finesse. Aging, entirely in new French barrels, varies from 16 to 24 months. On the nose, the Amancio 2020 displays intense aromas of black fruits, licorice, and cocoa, while on the palate it is broad and structured, with polished tannins and precise balance.
