Quíbia is the white wine of the Ánima Negra winery in Mallorca, a winery founded in 1994 and which has demonstrated in such a short time the excellent quality of wines that can be produced in Mallorca. Its wines are produced under the VT de Mallorca appellation.
Quíbia is a different wine, with personality, very fresh, with a marked Mediterranean character and a unique style that resembles a Blanc de Noirs due to its curious coupage composed of local varieties, including Callet, the native red variety par excellence, which plays a leading role in all the wines produced by the winery.
The grapes come from vineyards facing the Mediterranean. The grapes are harvested by hand. Fermentation at low temperature and aging for about 4 months on lees in stainless steel tanks.
A fresh and Mediterranean wine. The nose is dominated by white and tropical fruit, fine herbaceous notes with floral and mineral notes. Pleasant citrus finish, with light bitter touches.
