Artadi Valdeginés 2020 is one of the great single-vineyard wines produced by Artadi in Laguardia, within Rioja Alavesa. This wine exclusively comes from the Valdeginés vineyard, located at about 600 meters above sea level, in clay-calcareous soils that give it notable tension, freshness, and mineral expression. Made from organically grown Tempranillo grapes, this wine represents minimal intervention viticulture aimed at reflecting the character of the terroir. Harvesting is done manually, and fermentation takes place in open wooden vats, where gentle extraction ensures the wine's elegance and aromatic precision. This 2020 vintage has undergone a shorter aging period of about 9 months in French oak barrels, followed by further refinement, which emphasizes its fresh, fluid, and fruity profile.
