Blas Muñoz Cepas Viejas 2021 is a red wine made by Viñedos y Bodegas Muñozat I.G.P. Vino de la Tierra de Castilla , from Tempranillo from very old vines. These vines, many of them more than 60 years old, offer very low yields and grapes of great concentration, resulting in an intense wine with a marked personality that reflects the character of the climate and soils of Castilla-La Mancha.

After fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately 12 months in oak barrels , where it gains complexity and balance without losing the expression of the fruit. The result is a structured and elegant red wine, where ripe fruit is integrated with notes of wood and spices, offering a classic and well-defined style.

In the glass it presents an intense and brilliant cherry red color. The nose offers aromas of red fruits and wild blackberry accompanied by spicy, toasted and balsamic nuances. The palate is round and velvety , with good structure, well-integrated tannins and a long, balanced finish. An ideal wine to accompany red meats, roasts, game dishes or cured cheeses.
