Blas Muñoz Cepas Viejas 2021 is a red wine made by Viñedos y Bodegas Muñoz in the I.G.P. Vino de la Tierra de Castilla, sourced from very old Tempranillo vines, many over 60 years old. These vines yield low amounts of highly concentrated grapes, resulting in an intense wine that reflects the climatic and geological environment of Castilla-La Mancha. During its aging process, lasting approximately 12 months in oak barrels, the wine gains complexity and balance while preserving the freshness of the fruit. With a bright cherry red color, the nose is dominated by aromas of red fruits and wild blackberry, complemented by notes of spices, toasty elements, and a balsamic touch. On the palate, it is round and velvety, with a solid structure and well-integrated tannins, culminating in a long and balanced finish.
