This red wine is one of the classics of the house. Its history goes back 100 years and it was one of the first creations of the Catena family. It is made with Malbec from two of the winery's legendary vineyards and, since the 2015 vintage, its calling card is a striking label that, under the legend 'Ten centuries of life, death and rebirth', pays tribute to the history of the mythical variety in France and its subsequent boom in Argentina. The four female figures that appear allude to different milestones in the history of this variety, highlighting the cadaverous phylloxera, symbol of the death of Malbec in the Old World, and Doña Zapata, embodied in Adrianna Catena, representing its resurgence in the New World. All this to dress a wine that restores Malbec to its splendorous glory.
