Contino Rosado 2019 is one of the most prestigious and exclusive rosés from the Rioja region. Produced by Viñedos del Contino in Laserna, Rioja Alavesa, it diverges from the typical light and simple rosé style. This wine seeks depth, texture, and the ability to evolve in the bottle, inspired by the great European rosés. It is primarily made from Garnacha, complemented by small amounts of Graciano and Viura from selected plots. The maceration is gentle, fermentation partially occurs in barrel, and it matures for 6 months on the lees in French oak, adding complexity, volume, and a creamy texture while maintaining freshness.
