Nose: muy intenso en nariz, con importantes notas afrutadas, frutas del bosque y moras, con toques balsámicos en el fondo.

Martelo is a wine that was born with the aim of extracting the essence of the terroir of the Rioja Alavesa. It is only made in those vintages that meet the most demanding parameters of the winemaker of Torre de Oña and its parent company La Rioja Alta S.A., Julio Sáenz : fresh vintages, with gentle tannins and long, slow and balanced maturation. It is the winemaker himself who makes the personal selection of the plots that form part of this wine, which includes varieties such as Tempranillo, Mazuelo, Garnacha and even the white Viura in small proportions.
