Cuentaviñas Arriscado 2022 is a white wine from Rioja DOCa (Spain) produced by Eduardo Eguren , a fifth-generation winemaker from one of Spain’s most renowned wine families. It comes from the El Llano vineyard , planted in 1966 in San Vicente de la Sonsierra , with a north-facing exposure and calcareous, gypsum-rich soils that give the wine its distinctive mineral character.

This wine is the result of several years of research in the vineyard to fully express its purity. It undergoes a short skin maceration followed by fermentation in French oak vats , and is then aged on its lees for 12 to 16 months , adding texture, depth and complexity while preserving freshness.

In the glass it shows a refined mineral profile , with notes of white fruit, citrus and a pronounced chalky character. The palate is fresh, precise and well-structured , with vibrant acidity and a long, saline finish. A terroir-driven white wine, ideal with fish, seafood or fine cuisine.
