Cuentaviñas Tinto Fino 2022 is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero, one of the most prestigious wine regions in Spain. This wine is the result of the personal dedication of Eduardo Eguren, from one of the most influential families in the wine world in the country. It is made 100% from Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grapes from vineyards located in an environment where the continental climate and poor soils favor the production of wines with great structure and elegance. The winemaking process involves careful selection of the grapes, followed by fermentation in small tanks, which ensures the full expression of the fruit. Subsequently, the wine undergoes aging for approximately 12 months in oak barrels, with an additional honing period in concrete tanks, giving it interesting complexity without sacrificing varietal purity. In the glass, Cuentaviñas Tinto Fino 2022 presents a deep ruby red color. On the nose, it unfolds an elegant range of aromas of black cherry and berries, complemented by floral notes, spices, and a hint of cocoa. On the palate, it is balanced and structured, with polished tannins, good freshness, and a long finish that recalls minerals and ripe fruit.
