Mark: Dominio del Águila
Dominio del Águila is a family winery located in La Aguilera, a small village in the Ribera del Duero and run by a couple of passionate winemakers: Jorge Monzón and Isabel Rodero. Since 2010 they decided to join forces to achieve a dream.
Pícaro del Águila is the reflection of the craftsmanship with which they work in this winery. It has been thanks to her that what was a bad harvest due to spring frosts became an "incredible" wine, to quote Luis Gutiérrez's words for Parker, where the extra work of discarding clusters was well worth it and gives us a wine with a mysterious profile, clean aromas and fine, chalky tannins.
A wine to discover and with which to discover an impressive heritage of old vines in the Ribera del Duero.
Tasty, spicy and with good acidity. Very fruity aromas and flavors that are enjoyed on a persistent and pleasant finish.
