Falcoeira A Capilla 2021 is an exceptional red wine from the Denomination of Origin Valdeorras, crafted with dedication by the Compañía de Vinos Telmo Rodríguez within the prestigious Ladeiras do Xil project. This wine comes from the Falcoeira vineyard, located in the municipality of Santa Cruz, on spectacular terraces that reach altitudes between 400 and 600 meters over granite soils. Made from a carefully selected blend of indigenous varieties such as Mencía, Brancellao, Sousón, and Garnacha Tintorera, this wine stands out for its character and minerality, brought by the steep slopes. The harvest is done manually to ensure the quality of the grapes, and fermentation occurs with native yeasts in oak vats, preserving the vineyard's identity. Afterward, the wine undergoes aging for approximately 16 months in oak fudres, enriching the product's complexity without masking the purity of the fruit or the expression of the terroir.
