Finca Rodma Selection 2022 is the flagship wine of the winery, designed to express a perfect balance between fruit, structure, and wood, in a modern style, yet faithful to the character of Ribera del Duero. This wine is made exclusively with Tempranillo grapes from vineyards located at about 650 meters altitude, where sandy-loam soils and a continental climate favor good flavor concentration without losing freshness. The 2022 vintage was marked by demanding climatic conditions, featuring high temperatures and drought, resulting in a wine of greater concentration and structure. Despite these challenges, meticulous work was done in the winery to preserve the balance and elegance of the wine. On the nose, it offers an intense and complex profile, with aromas of ripe black and red fruits such as blackberry and cherry, alongside floral and spicy notes, with hints of vanilla and toasted aspects. On the palate, it is meaty and balanced, with ripe, well-integrated tannins. Its finish is long and persistent, in perfect harmony between fruit and wood. This wine has a good potential for evolution, improving in the bottle for several years, and pairs perfectly with red meats, stews, mushrooms, and aged cheeses, where its structure and depth are especially enhanced.
