Finca San Martín Crianza 2021 is a red wine from the DOCa Rioja produced by Bodegas Torre de Oña , part of the La Rioja Alta group. It is produced with 100% Tempranillo from vineyards located mainly in Rioja Alavesa, where the clay-limestone soils and the Atlantic climate bring freshness and balance to the wine.
After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine is aged for approximately 16 months in American oak barrels , followed by a period of refining in the bottle which helps to integrate its aromas and soften its structure.
The nose is expressive and elegant, with aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherry and plum , accompanied by balsamic and spicy notes and hints of vanilla and toast from the aging. The palate is balanced and silky, with soft tannins, good acidity and a long, harmonious finish. A classic and very gastronomic Rioja, ideal to accompany grilled meats, lamb, traditional stews or cured cheeses.
