Goliardo Tinto 2021 is a unique Atlantic-style red wine from Rías Baixas, produced by Forjas del Salnés using native grape varieties from old vineyards.
The wine is made from a blend of Caíño, Loureiro, Espadeiro and Sousón , grown on granite and sandy soils. It undergoes spontaneous fermentation followed by about 12 months of ageing in oak barrels and large foudres , preserving freshness and terroir expression.
On the nose it shows fresh red fruit, floral and herbal notes with a subtle spicy and saline character , while on the palate it is light, juicy and elegant , with vibrant acidity and a clean, refreshing finish.
It is a distinctive red wine, closer to cool-climate, Atlantic styles than to traditional Spanish reds, ideal for those seeking freshness, drinkability and character.
