Hispania Blanco 2022 is an exceptional white wine from the Denomination of Origin Ribera del Duero, crafted by Territorio Luthier. This wine comes from a careful selection of Albillo Mayor grapes, to which small amounts of Pirulés, Viura, and Malvasía are added. The grapes are grown in old vineyards located in Zazuar, in the province of Burgos, on sandy-loam soils that impart unique characteristics to the grapes. Fermentation occurs in concrete tanks using native yeasts, followed by a malolactic process. The wine then ages for 16 months in Spanish oak barrels, contributing to its complexity and depth, without sacrificing the freshness that characterizes a good white. The result is a very limited production wine, yet with a marked character and suitable for aging. Upon tasting, intense aromas of white fruit, citrus notes, and floral touches combine with hints of honey, underbrush, and spices, all enhanced by a subtle toasted background. On the palate, it presents great freshness and balance, with an enveloping texture and a long finish that reaffirms its gastronomic profile, making it ideal for pairing with a variety of dishes and ensuring its potential for evolution in the bottle.
