Vatán is a red wine from Bodegas Ordóñez produced under the D.O. Toro, using 100% Tinta de Toro grapes from centenary vineyards with very low yields. This wine is very popular in the media thanks to its power without losing elegance, and is considered one of the great wines of the Denomination of Origin.

With a very limited production, Vatán is a faithful representative of the oldest clone of Tempranillo in Spain, located in the only Denomination of Origin that completely resisted phylloxera. Los Quemados, a striking vineyard with sandy soils and centenary vines, provides its distinctive stamp, offering a powerful but elegant wine, with structure, velvety and sweet tannins, and great acidity.
