Kuusu 2021 is an exclusive creation by Oxer Bastegieta, one of the most innovative winemakers in the region. From a century-old vineyard in Villabuena del Puente, Zamora, it reflects a fresh and elegant interpretation of Tinta de Toro. Made with 10% Albillo Mayor, the wine offers added complexity. The vineyard, planted in sandy, quartz-rich soils, provides a unique expression in the area. Fermentation with native yeasts and careful aging in oak preserves the authenticity of the terroir. On the nose, it presents notes of fresh black fruits, violets, and delicate mineral hints. On the palate, the wine is surprisingly silky and elegant, with fine tannins and excellent acidity rarely found in this designation. The finish is long and refined, reaffirming Bastegieta's modern approach.
