Las Beatas 2023 is one of the great jewels of Telmo Rodríguez's Rioja project and is considered one of the most exclusive single-vineyard wines in Spain. The wine comes from a historic vineyard of just 1.9 hectares in Labastida, reflecting the rich winemaking tradition of Rioja Alavesa with numerous varieties planted in a blend. The parcel consists of ten terraces with diverse orientations and a complex soil that contributes to the wine's unique personality. The ecological approach in the vineyard combined with respectful winemaking and aging in foudre aims to preserve the vineyard's identity. With a complex aromatic profile of black cherry, raspberry, blackberry, and mineral notes, Las Beatas 2023 offers great depth and a silky texture on the palate. This wine represents the historical and terroir-driven vision of Rioja, with very limited production intended to evoke emotions and evolve over decades.
