Leda Viñas Viejas 2017 is a PGI Castilla y León red wine made by Bodegas Leda from 100% Tempranillo. It comes from a selection of old vineyards, between 70 and 100 years old , located in different areas of the Duero Valley, mainly in Ribera del Duero and Toro. It is a wine that seeks to reflect the richness and diversity of these historic vineyards through a precise and very careful winemaking process.
After fermentation, the wine is aged for 18 months in new barrels , mostly French oak. The nose presents an intense and complex profile, with aromas of ripe red and black fruit , balsamic notes and spicy and toasted nuances. The palate is full, powerful and balanced, with polished tannins and a long, elegant finish.
