Lustau VORS Oloroso is a great reference within the fortified wines from Jerez, crafted by Lustau Wineries. It is produced from a small solera of only nine botas, selected by renowned winemaker Manuel Lozano. The V.O.R.S. certification ensures an average aging of over 30 years. This wine develops unique concentration and complexity after decades of oxidative aging, while maintaining a surprising freshness. It is bottled unfiltered to express the authenticity of the great olorosos from the Jerez region. Its aromas include nuts, bitter orange, toffee, plums, and spices, with an elegant smoky touch. On the palate, it is powerful, dry, and concentrated, with bright acidity that balances its intensity. The finish is long, with notes of dried fruits and cocoa. It pairs well with game, red meats, aged cheeses, mushrooms, and Iberian ham, or can be enjoyed as a meditation wine.
