Marqués de Riscal XR Rosé 2024 is the first rosé offering from the esteemed XR range of Marqués de Riscal winery. Located in the Rioja region of Elciego, the Garnacha grapes used come from vineyards over fifty years old, carefully selected to ensure their high quality. The 2024 vintage is characterized by challenging weather, which, despite frost and little rain, favored the aromatic concentration of the grapes. Through direct pressing, optimal preservation of the fruit is achieved, resulting in a wine with intense aromas of strawberry, raspberry, and other red fruits, with a floral touch and Mediterranean freshness. On the palate, it is fresh, balanced, with marked acidity that provides verticality and a vibrant, refreshing finish. This rosé is an ideal companion for seafood, fish, Mediterranean rice dishes, and Asian cuisine. It should be served between 8 and 12 °C to fully enjoy its freshness and elegance.
