It is primarily made with Tempranillo, accompanied by small proportions of Garnacha and other traditional Rioja varieties, sourced from vines in different plots of the village. Fermentation is carried out with native yeasts and subsequently the wine undergoes aging of around 12 months in oak barrels, aiming to maintain the balance between fruit, freshness, and expression of the terroir.
On the nose, it exhibits aromas of ripe red and black fruit, accompanied by floral notes, spices, and light mineral hints. On the palate, it is balanced and elegant, with fine tannins, good acidity, and a long, harmonious finish. A Rioja that reflects the character of the Sonsierra landscape and is very gastronomic, ideal for pairing with roasted meats, game, or traditional cuisine.
