Protos 9 Months 2023 presents itself as one of the freshest and most accessible offerings from Bodegas Protos in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. This wine is made exclusively from Tempranillo grapes sourced from organic vineyards situated between 800 and 840 meters in elevation. The soils contribute to its freshness and aromatic expression. The elaboration occurs in small stainless steel tanks, preserving the fruit's purity and fineness. Subsequently, the wine ages for 9 months in French oak barrels, adding complexity while maintaining its fruity essence. In the nose, we find an elegant intensity with aromas of ripe black fruit, while on the palate, the wine is flavorful, balanced, and silky in texture.
