PSI 2023 is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by Dominio de Pingus , the project of renowned winemaker Peter Sisseck. It is produced mainly with Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) accompanied by a small proportion of Garnacha , sourced from old vineyards spread across numerous villages in the region and cultivated by local winegrowers with vine-friendly practices. Fermentation takes place in concrete tanks and the wine ages for around 18 months in used barrels and large wooden vats , avoiding the prominence of new wood to preserve the purity of the fruit.
The nose is very expressive and elegant, with aromas of red and black fruit such as raspberry, plum or blueberry , accompanied by light floral, spicy and licorice nuances. The palate offers a juicy and balanced profile, with fine tannins, good acidity and a silky texture that highlights its fresh and refined character.
The result is a modern and accessible Ribera del Duero that seeks to emphasize freshness, finesse and vineyard expression over power. A very gastronomic red, ideal to accompany grilled meats, sausages, small game dishes or cured cheeses.
