Remirez de Ganuza Reserva 2015 is a benchmark for the new generation of wines in Rioja Alavesa. This red wine combines the tradition of the denomination with a meticulous selection process. Sourced from old vines over 60 years old in the Sierra Cantabria, the Atlantic climate and clay-limestone soils contribute to the extraordinary concentration of grapes. Its innovative process includes manual harvesting and cooling of bunches, selecting only the shoulders of the Tempranillo bunch. Malolactic fermentation in barrel and aging for 22 months in French and American oak add depth and elegance. With intense aromas of blackberry, black plum, and spices combined with balsamic notes, it is silky, balanced, and has a long finish on the palate. Ideal to accompany roasted lamb and traditional stews, it has excellent aging potential in bottle.
