After the grapes are harvested by hand and carefully selected, fermentation takes place in small tanks and the wine is then transferred to new French oak barrels where it ages for around 20 months , after which it is refined in the bottle to achieve greater complexity and balance.
The nose is intense and elegant, with aromas of ripe black fruit, floral notes and delicate hints of cocoa, spices and toast. The palate is full and silky, with fine tannins, good freshness and a long, lingering finish. A Rioja with great personality and ageing capacity, ideal to accompany red meats, game or traditional dishes.
