Valeyo 2021 Magnum 1.5L comes from the select "Miguel Rey" vineyard in Valtuille de Arriba, a region of vineyards at 650 meters altitude where grapes are cultivated in acidic and loose soils with a clay-sandy texture. This harvest is the result of a cool and humid winter and spring, leading to a smooth budding at the end of March. Despite the rains during flowering that affected berry setting, the mild and rainy summer promoted excellent maturation in the vines, with harvest taking place in September. This wine is aged for 12 months in new and used 500-liter French oak barrels, contributing to its distinctive texture and complexity. With a very limited production of 11,866 bottles and 260 magnums, Valeyo 2021 stands out for its soft tannins and remarkable aromatic extraction, promising a unique sensory experience.
